Volvo XC90 Hot Pink Decals as a Birthday Present by Vinyl Wrap Toronto
Birthdays are fun. However, it can be a mind field to pick a perfect gift for your spouse or someone that you love unconditionally. Only someone who thinks out of the box can think of getting decals on his wife’s Volvo XC90 for her birthday.
Mr. Pegoraro was looking to give his wife the perfect birthday gift. So while he was surfing the web for inspiration. Our client came across a job of installed decals that Vinyl Wrap Toronto had done in the past. The client found a picture of a Black Mercedes C63S that we installed red racing stripes on. That was enough for the inspiration to strike for him.
The client decided the best gift he could give her wife would be to get the racing stripes decals inspired by that Mercedes he saw on our website on his wife’s new Volvo XC90. The difference was that he chose a different style and colour.
It was a rush job for Vinyl Wrap Toronto, but we made time so this man could celebrate his wife’s birthday on time. However, the job came with its bumps. The colour he chose to get was pink, but the colour he chose was rare, and since he wanted it done quickly, we couldn’t get our hands on it in time. Fortunately for him, pink comes in various shades and finishes. We showed him some shades and he settled for one that was very close to the one he originally wanted. The colour we settled on was the “ G103 – Gloss Hot Pink” from 3M’s 2080 Series.

Moving on, our designers quickly rendered a mockup showing how the stripes will look like, and sent it to the client. The client approved the design and we started the preparation process.
We made sure he got the job done the same day he dropped off the vehicle. In fact, the client sat in our garage while our installers worked their magic. On top of what was described, our installers added a bit of a touch of their own. The order was to install decals on the sides, front scoop, and mirrors. But our installers wanted to include another subtle decal around the license plate on the back of the Volvo XC90. Being in the industry for years, the client appreciated our installers’ input and effort.
The stripes came out looking “Hot”. The client took the Volvo XC90 home with a big smile on his face. This job gave us something more than just the satisfaction of a job well done. It gave us the chance to make a couple happy.
