16-Foot 2007 Crestliner Boat Wrap
Boating season is just around the corner. It is time to take the boats out of your garages and set sail. When you have had the same boat for years, it is natural to get a little bored with the way it looks. Our recent client felt his boat needed to be freshened up a little bit. The client owns a 16 Foot 2007 Crestliner Boat.
The Crestliner Boat had started to show its age and needed a total makeover. So, the client contacted us at Vinyl Wrap Toronto and explained what he was looking for. The client came in to discuss his requirements and took a look at some camouflage patterns. He liked the idea of camouflage but wanted his own custom-designed pattern instead of using a factory-made design for his Crestliner Boat. It was an interesting job for our designers and it didn’t take them long to design a camouflage pattern and get the client’s approval.
Upon the client’s approval, we printed the design on Avery Dennison’s printable vehicle vinyl; we consider it one of the best wrapping materials available on the market. The printed wrapping material was then passed onto our experienced installers who wrapped the Crestliner Boat with absolute precision and detail. The camouflage pattern goes around the boat and we added a bit of an accent by wrapping the tire covers of the boat trailer.
Most of the time when people want to freshen up the look of their boat, they have two cheaper options other than buying a new boat. They can either get a boat wrap or get a custom paint job for their boat. Experts at Vinyl Wrap Toronto want you to know the following things about boat wraps before you make a decision:
Why get a Boat Wrap instead of a custom Paint Job?
- Keep the Original Colour:
This is one of the delicious perks of getting a boat wrap or any vehicle wrap. A wrap is essentially a layer of material that sits on top of your boat’s surface, preserving the original colour. Giving you the option to switch back to the original colour whenever you want. - Freedom of expression:
Unlike custom-paint jobs, boat wraps allow you to go wild with your imagination, and won’t cost you a fortune. Anything that you can describe to the designers can be turned into a boat wrap. Be it a solid colour, pattern or image, there are no limits on what you can get as a boat wrap. Additionally, you get to pick from several finishes such as satin, matte, gloss, etc. - Cost-effectiveness:
Considering the freedom of design, the ability to retain the original colour of your boat and the lifespan of boat wraps, it is considered a relatively cost-effective way of switching up the look of your boat. A paint job can start out relatively cheap for a single colour and more than triple for custom designs. - Added Paint Protection:
Not only do boat wraps let you keep the original paint of your boat, but also added protection for the paint from water, sun and debris. So, when you decide to take off the wrap years later, you’d see the paint underneath has remained intact. - Lifespan:
Once you get a boat wrap, you won’t have to worry about it for several years as long as they use premium quality material. Like a paint job, there is minimal maintenance required. - Easy Installation and Removal:
Wrapping a boat and unwrapping it is an easy process that can be finished in just a day by professionals.
