680 News | Toyota Highlander Hybrid
A successful business owner knows how to grab every opportunity to take the company to the next level. In any case, it requires creative ideas that show your brand off to raise awareness. If you are not doing anything to promote your business, then there you’re holding your business back from its true potential. The more effort you put into advertising, the more potential customers you reach.
One of the leading news companies in Toronto called “680 News” is on the right track for advertising its brand. Being a successful news portal, one would think that’s enough. But 680 News is putting an effort into promoting their brand each day and it’s certainly paying off. The company wanted to do something to advertise and show off their brand that would stay for a long time. What kind of promotional object or service is durable enough to last for years with just a one-time payment? We have the answer for you, vehicle wraps.
680 News placed an order to get 3 of their new Toyota Highlander Hybrids fully wrapped to promote their business. All three of the Toyota Hybrid Highlander Hybrids were to be wrapped in the exact same design and material. For the full wrap, the company chose the colour Kelly Green because it is the colour of the 680 News logo.
On top of the Kelly Green full car wraps, we installed some white-coloured decals and lettering. For the full wrap, we used material offered by 3M and for the decals, we used Avery Dennison. The client had a picture of the colour they wanted to get, but the issue with using a picture as a reference as opposed to a physical object is that the picture tends to shift colours based on which screen it is being displayed. Our team tried to give the client as much colour accuracy as possible. On the full wrap, it features the company logo on both sides in big bold letters and a sponsorship message for “Toyota”.
Our experienced installers have years of wrapping vehicles under their belts, but practice makes perfect so by the third Hybrid Toyota, our team was flying through the install.
We have attached pictures of the Toyota Highlander Hybrids on this page for you to see what they look like after the wrap.
This is not the first time when we wrapped a hybrid vehicle, but we did learn a few things while we were going through the process.
Here are the steps or tasks we go through to fulfill a vehicle wrap order:
- Gather requirements from the client.
- Start designing the wrap based on the information provided by the client; the time spent varies depending on the complexity of the design.
- Create a mockup file for the client.
- Send mockup to the client and wait for approval.
- If the client doesn’t approve, make the revisions and send the file again.
- Upon approval, start the printing and lamination process.
- Get the vehicle ready by cleaning it with vinegar and alcohol.
- Installation
- Inform the client and have the vehicle picked up.
